@Tigersmind87 Yip, spot on, he broke both legs (in separate incidences) so we had to figure out a way to really help strengthen his muscles so he could be released back in to the wild. We actually got help and advice from a sport physiotherapist. The treadmill helped heaps, his muscle tone improved and meant he was ready to be sent to rehab to hang out in a big outdoor enclosure to continue to build muscle strength. Hopefully he’ll be ready for release in the next few months

apparently this kiwi broke both his legs and they do this before releasing it in the wild (read this in a comment somewhere) + the oil spill is in the US , kiwi’s are only found in new Zealand i think
