I’m sure you’re not a stranger to outrageous claims when it comes to the weight loss industry. “Lose weight by eating”, “get this new treadmill and leave all your fat on it”, “these new pills will make you Angelina Jolie next Thursday”, etc.. so when I’m saying that I lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks by doing exercises that made me lose fat even while I was resting, I may perceive that I’m going to sound just like them. But what may I say? This is true – this happened to ME!
By now you recognise that losing weight is just a calories game. Calories you take in minus calories you spend… if you’re at negative, you’re losing weight. However, the “calories you spend” may be a bit tricky.
The majority of all calories you spend come from the simple fact that you are alive. The basal metamorphosis is around 75 to 95 percent of all your calorie consumption. What you in all likelihood don’t know (it is efficaciously being concealed from you), but what makes the most divergence is… your metabolic rate may vacillate insanely.
For example, if you starve yourself, the body will turn your survival mode on and will try to preserve all energy in it, dramatically reducing your metabolic rate. This will cause you to burn much less fat, so even if you starve yourself, your fat loss will be exceedingly slow. Not to mention it would be super dangerous.
On the other hand… if you are capable to RAISE your metabolic rate dramatically, you would be losing weight all the time even while eating as much as you did last week.
The trick is within muscle exercises. Building muscle is a very involved process. You are in a literal sense putting something that’s not there – your body is creating it out of thin air. This is how a 15 minute exercise may burn you fat for a full three days.
By doing the exercise, you are detrimental your muscles on a microscopic scale. While you are resting your body starts repairing your muscle, and this time makes it more inviolable (this is how ALL muscle building works).
Like I just said, all this occurs while you are RESTING. This means a much increased metabolic rate. You will be losing fat practically even while you are sleeping! This is why you do not need to starve yourself in order to lose weight. Simply raising your metabolic rate will do the trick – and it will make you very healthy!

I like this one! By Trish I have rather a few yoga DVD’s and this one will work it’s way into my permanent rotation. Kundalini yoga is new to me and at firstborn I thought I would miss my more conventional poses. This DVD gives a whole dissimilar feel…more energetic and yet peaceful. I be grateful for that fact that it is chaptered, but when I’ve done it, I have finished the entire DVD only because I did not want to stop. Your arms will feel the divergence as will your stomach. My arms ached at primary by felt genuinely good afterwards. I think you’ll like this one.

Hypoactive thyroid By Amber I was diagnosed with hypoactive thyroid over a year ago and was put on medication. Once on the medication, if I ever missed a day, the next day would be a disaster. I would be exclusively exhausted.

THIS KICKED MY BUTT AROUND THE BLOCK – BUT I LOVED IT!!! By Amber High energy and a large total of fun! Even though this DVD felt gorgeous challenging for me I in truth feel this is when it comes to as close to a perfective yoga workout as you may get. This is one I would like to do each day because it seems to get everything covered from just sufficient stretching ( which opened my hips nicely and loosened up my spine) to cardio which, even even though humans would argure with me and say you can’t get cardio doing yoga, made me feel totaly oxygenated. If any individual asked me if I did cardio today I would unquestionably say YES!
Here is a somewhat breakdown of the DVD as best as I may do not forget after doing this only 1X.
There are 4 parts. You may do them all together like I did or just 1 section.
The primary exercise in the 1st division is called Ravi rolls which is rather interesting and got the heart pumping. You are standing and swinging your arms 1 & 3/4 circles one way then reversing, bending your knees as your arms pass center and doing breath of fire the whole time. The 1st section (called Start Your Engines) proceeds with a lot of breath and movement exercises for energizing. Side Bends and thyroid stimulating exercises that also actually warm up and open up the upper spine. I think this division also had a good deal of warmups and stretching.
Set 2 is called Fight Fire With Fire which has a lot of deep abdominal work. At one point you are keeping in a sort of half crunch position doing breath of fire and I felt the burn! This whole division is pretty intense for me. Other exercises in this section I may do not forget are a wide leg stretch, leg lifts on belly, leg lifts on back……
The next set is No-impact Aerobics. Walking in place knees high, then Frogs which always kick my butt, then piston pose which I am sure I will feel in my thighs and butt tomorrow.. Then there are these unbelievable looking pushups on one knee with the other leg straight behind which at basi glimpse made me say “no way!” but I found I could do them. I might not have looked rather the same as Ana but I think it still worked the same important areas i.e. chest, back and arms and butt again! Then more arm work…
The last set is your life is in your own glands. Alternate leg lifts where you raise and lower your head opposite to your leg. Then there is breath of fire in cow and cat pose. Overall this last set seemed to be a shorter set altho this is supposed to be four 19 minute sets. I will try to do not forget to time them next timeThen there are 2 meditations(for calming & aroused balance) which I skipped today for time constraints altho I will in all likelihood do them other times. I genuinely felt finelooking calm and in an emotional manner balanced by the end ot the workout anyway.
Overall it is a tough, energizing and freshening workout and like most Kundalini yoga workouts holds no sun salutations which have begun to bore me beyond comatose!
The soundtrack is in truth well done. The music has an Indian flavor but mixed with other influences I can’t rather recognize but actually liked. You may listen Ana’s breathing like she is right there in the room. it helped my breath of fire enormously to get into her rythym.
Ana is always an inspiration. She looks like she is having fun and smiles encouragingly making even the toughest subsections seem easier. Ravi is off camera speaking. We never see him. He gives good aligment cues and as always aroused and spiritual help with his comforting voice. Also in the credits before and after the workout you see Ana dancing which is actually cool.

you should excersize at least 30 minutes a day for 4-5 days a week

well really the longer u run the more calories u burn , there is no ceiling
but theres exhaustion and dehydration, so u shouldnt and really cant just keep running

No – any exercise – walking across the street – is better than no exercise.
And on the other end, you can exercise all day. Our ancient ancestors (and modern hunters in Africa) would run all day long as they ran down and tire out animals.
